OCZ Fatal1ty 1000W question.

I just picked this power supply up the other day from newegg. Tonight I was starting to assemble my case and I was trying to test the new fans I put in so i decided to just plug in the Power supply to the 110v power and plug in a fan to see how it looks.

However im not getting the power supply to turn on, do you guys think it was DOA or is there something that prevents it from powering up if there is no Mobo connected? The ONLY thing connected to the PSU are my led fans, and the PSU itself also has a red led fan inside it and it is not coming on at all either. I have power coming from the outlet for sure I tested it.

Yeah I flipped the switch on the back of the PSU. I don't follow you on the paperclip comment,

You have to put a paper clip or similar in the right pins on mobo connector, otherwise it wont power up. Just google 'powersupply paperclip'.
