Looking at BlueScreenView, it says the problem is with atikmpag.sys, dxgkrnl.sys, and dxgmms1.sys. Anyone know what's going on?

If you wish to use drivers other than RC11, copy and paste few .dlls from RC11 to the new drivers prior to install.

UPDATE: The problem seems to be with my dual monitor setup. Unplugging a monitor lets me work with all drivers no problem. Otherwise, only RC11 and 12.1 work for me. I cannot reproduce the problem with any specificity -- the BSoDs come randomly.

aoya: I have the exact same problem as you have, only I run with 3 monitors ;-)

By doing like you and reverting to rc11 or only using one monitor fixes the problem.

I'm crossing my fingers for it to be resolved in the catalyst driver soon.

btw. Have you tried all the missing files and locking the voltages as mentioned by Ken?

Ken's solution only "unlocks" overclocking, but does not fix the problem at all. Installing RC11 and then installing 12.2/12.3/12.4 (which preserves the missing files) does not solve the problem either.

Thanks... that saved me some time testing and BSOD grief :-)

I have posted some driver feedback to AMD here: http://www.amdsurveys.com/se.ashx?s=5A1E27D27E29B0E3
I hope that will speed up the process.

I'll keep you posted in the unlikely event I discover a solution

He keeps posting that crap everywhere as if its some kinda cure. I have the same issues, it's all eyefinity bound. The multi screen subsystem is broken for me in all the latest drivers, 12.2+ and 8.95.5 and 8.96.0. Actually, 8.96.0 aka the OpenCL 1.2 driver works, well the driver portion works. However it has an issue with keeping the DP and DVI panels in synch, so unless you are immune to convulsions and flickering, I would stay away. Also, the new taskbar positioning is still broke in their implementations of Eyefinity 2.1. Thank gawd there is RC11 otherwise I would have returned these long ago... well since the cards wouldn't be operable lol.
