Do you AP-15s emit any sort of whining? My AP13 and 14 do, at any rpm though it gets louder as they speed up.

This is what I'm referring to. Forward the video to 1:30. It gets louder from there.

Bought both AP-13 and AP-15. AP-13 are dead silent. At least Scythe Slip Stream 120 1200prm much more louder than AP-13. AP-15 at max speed a loud, but blows like a hurricane. I cant hear any whinig sounds

I have the AP-13, AP-14 and AP-15, they are quiet, but they do make whooshing sound and are not what I would consider silent. A better choice for quiet fans are the Kama Flow 2 series, the noise signature on those is more on the "quiet" side of the spectrum.

I just picked up some AP-15s and for the performance vs sound, they give you the most airflow for how loud they are.

The DBA rating on the AP-15s is misleading because it is a different TYPE of sound, it is not what you typically hear from a case fan, even if it is the same DBA, it is less noticeable and I had no "whirrring".

It is kind of like a... Gentle Typhoon, if you will...
