Do it in this order:
  1. Uninstall Afterburner and Catalyst.
  2. Clean it with Atiman Uninstaller v.6.3.1 (turn off UAC to install this).
  3. Install Official Catalyst 12.2/RC11/12.3 or w/e works for you http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-64.aspx
  4. Install CAP 12.2 http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-64.aspx
  5. Install MSI Afterburner 2.2.0 Beta 14 Download

  6. To turn off ULPS;
    1. Go to regedit (start > search programs and files > "regedit").
    2. In drop down menu: find file > type "enableulps".
    3. For ALL instances (keep pressing F3) change the "1" value to a "0".
    4. Reboot PC
  7. Enable "unoffcial overclocking" HOW TO: Enable UNOFFICIAL overclocking mode in MSI AfterBurner
  8. Afterburner settings > enable all voltage controls.
  9. Set the 2D memory clock to 3D. Hit apply then save.

Note: Exit Afterburber prior to editing .cfg and ULPS.

If all the above doesn't fix it for you, the other alternative is to edit the 2D memory clock in the profile. Also, only edit the primary GPU. No need to edit all 3.

Here, it's self explanatory http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117633

Yes, I've dealt with all of the above prior to this issue as I've had a quadfire 6970 setup before this tri-fire 7970 setup, so as far as disabling ULPS, etc... I've done that. I'm not sure what the flickering is from however. Unfortunately, when I set a custom 2D clock in afterburner, the clocks do not stick... does anyone know the maximum the 2D clocks can be set to for memory/core? I've read somewhere that there is a maximum limit for them.

Thanks

If you are on drivers other than RC11, there are missing files for some reasons and need to restore for it to work properly.
