Hmmm, I've spent the last 20+ years in servers and data centers and I would agree with thier statement. Is there some additional detail that you can provide that would show that Interlagos and Valencia are not good products for the data center? I'm pretty sure I could find a handful of industry analysts and others that could back the idea that these are good server products.

Yea, and too bad programmers don't use more BD instruction sets... its a monster at FMA4... In servers, BD does well, it just didn't translate as great to desktops as most here wanted. Although Piledriver based Trinity is sounding good and we know the BD arch has great potential, perhaps we'll see that mature and blossom. I sure hope so being an AMD user. And I'm sure Intel users want AMD to give Intel a reason to push their resources as well, because we all know we win in that scenario.

Also, good to see you around again JF.
