This is a great idea, the thought of extensions makes my head hurt planning cable routing and also just an idea add in neutral colors with the blue, red, and green: like green and black or black and grey etc...

I would like to know about some updates as well. They really do need longer SATA cables, right-angled connectors, and shorter distances between connectors on the daisy-chain SATA power cables.

closer daisy-chained sata power so that they can run flat along a series of hdds. also more colours i.e different shades of blue etc.

i would love to see someone make a power panel for sata drives. i've been building computers for 20 years now and there's nothing more annoying than the fact that hdd cages never match up to psu sata daisy chains.

there there was a board, with 4-8 female sata power connectors on it, that can slide up and down, then 4-8 1" male to female cables to go between the panel and the drives, that would be the bees knees right there. then take it a step further and add sata data function with the same principle. then 1 large cable runs to the motherboard that breaks up into 6-8 sata cabels to connect to the motherboard.
