can someone shove me in the direction of a good overclock guide? i just ordered the e6600, and want to oc it, but, really don't know where to start learning.

Please don't tell us a MoBo with an nForce chipset.

someone, i read that guide through, it's good. i was just wondering if anyone had anything more tailored towards the e6600 specifically, i'm just really worried about burning up the chip

No I don't think you can get specific to a e6600 unless you googled it and maybe you could come up with an overclocking log of a e6600.

I would suggeset that you just watch your temps. When you get up to 55C you might start wanting to think about aftermarket cooling.

There's a couple of people with P5W-DH and E6600 around here, I'm sure they'll help you overclocking your future rig.

about the aftermaket cooling, i ordered the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler.... this will be enough right? also, i only bought a 600w pwr supply, will that be enough?
