Its all good might just be another chip I murdered for the sake of trying to get higher clocks no problem lol. Will be at a micro center in a cupple days and get a new one lol.

Seems like you have to watch those 990fxa boards, my ud5 froze the 955 fine, after done let it thaw & dry, cleared cmos to startup up next time, no go because chip was dead. Used a 1090t for the spring extreme comp, froze & got scores, let the board thaw & dry, when I went to improve scores, chip was dead. I have an 8150 to try out, but scared to try it in this board, it seems hungry to eat cpus.

UD5 has voltage jitter on the earlier models. Set it at a voltage and it'll wibble about up to +/- 15% if you're unlucky.

ya same here i am going to get a different board for it after this don't want my 8120 to get eating by my motherboard lol.

Since it seems to like munching on my cpu's its getting banished to my define XL for good.

But that means i need another motherboard i have a asrock 970 extreme4 but that ones got a hole in it mind you it still posts and works fine.

would Corsair Dominator GT do just as good i know some on said hyper x is good for AMD but i am looking for some thing that plays nice with AMD and say a 2500k.
