I just broke down and got the 480... also got a 560 twin frozr II for the $20 IRC. It'll work as one will go into my computer, the other into the wifes computer. The 480 for 200 is a steal though... even with the noise.

So tempted to SLI these. Not sure if I'd be comfortable with the heat/power usage. I only have a HX-650 power supply. I would probably be cutting it close anyway.

Small OC on the 480s is what you'll get with that psu. But even stock 480 sli is killer!

Ha! no way am I going SLI...

850W usage with Furmark, and 668 with Crysis. I will just sit on my one for now. It's providing me with plenty of power for what I do. BF3 dips to around 40fps on heavy maps, all on ultra.

Think what you want, no problem.

A 2500K OC'd and two 480s at stock( possibly a very small OC) can run on that HX650.

Hmmmm.....I'm SLi with these with a 3.6Ghz 920, two HHD's, and 6 gb ram on a corsair 850w psu. No problems with even getting close to maxing out my psu.

Just bought my second 480. I've never used the SLI function though- It will not matter if brands are different, but what about overclocked cards? My other card is an MSI card at 825....should I just run them both at stock levels? Actually, any link to how to set up SLI would be appreciated.
