A newly leaked slide on Intel's Ivy Bridge launch schedule has hit the web which puts any previous uncertainty to rest in terms of when exactly the first wave of chips will hit retail.

As also indicated in recent reports, that day does indeed look to be April 29th with a bunch of Core i7 and i5 desktop models hitting retail at this time.

Z75? I don't know what's going on with the numbers.

So far after my spring break and birthday, yet it's still in the same month.

ok well lets hope this one stays final. Need to start thinking about selling my 2600K :| Im guessing that the 3770K will be a good bit more that the current price of the 2600/2700K's due to the demand of them on release. Im just sooo amped for these chips. They are gonna rock. Hope they clock as well as the rumored 7Ghz.

HAHA 7ghz, that is just a liiiittle too much my friend tongue.gif.

If they could take the same voltages as sandy yeah 6.5ghz might be a possibility under water. But I think realisticly, you're looking at 5.5 under water.

Z68 and P67 will support Ivy through BIOS update, GEN3 already have native support for both Ivy and PCI-E 3.0, I believe the only way to utilize PCI-E 3.0 is with Ivy but even then a single GPU cannot saturate the bandwidth available in PCI-E 2.0, multiple gpu's on the other hand, yeah maybe. thumb.gif

Sounds good- Yeah I am not worried about PCI-E 3.0 - so far no game as even conquered my gtx 480 at 1080p ( at least nothing thats bothered me yet... ) no reason to upgrade yet smile.gif

Excited for IB :>
