Higher the base clock you have, harder it is on the IMC and others components. I had to increase the PCI-e frequency from 100 to 118 just to reach 236MHz of base clock. Beware because the PCI-e frequency of 100Mhz is also synchronised with your drives and graphic card. Going too high will stress their controller and if those are weak, you could get crash, corruption and even dead drive/ video card (unlikely).
After 4GHz, the voltages begin to skyrocket, trust me on this I've been to 5GHz on this CPU and this is exponential as soon as you got above 4GHz. 4.2 is easily achievable still depend if you got a good cpu. I would try to see what is the lowest voltage you can use without crashing.
What I actually do, is stress testing the CPU a good 3-5 mins and lowering until I have an error, then I increase the voltage of about two notch.
Once you know what your CPU is cabable of, you can aim for higher frequency. I will tell you, it's not worth much unless you really need higher frequency. I mean, lately I haven't been playing at any game, jsut web browsing. I let my CPU run @ 160 x 21, no need cranking it up for that wink.gif

Thanks, so for 4.2 i just increase the base clock and the voltage? or do i have to increase the pcie frequency too or is that with a higher OC?

I can't say. It all depends for the motherboard / cpu.

My cpu wouldn't boot after 221MHz base clock if I didn't increased the PCI-e frequency. I think for 200*21 you will have no trouble. Up VTT (max safe is said being 1.3v) and Vcore (max safe said being 1.3v, most will use 1.4-1.45v max). Watch temperature.

You can either crash if you have too low VTT or Vcore. I don't know the options on your board but there should be MCR strap (something like that), Skew control, etc. Check what all these options are for. Sometimes it helps lowering voltage if you properly set these options.
