Lian li p80 high end gaming rig build! - Page 2

From the cooling parts you listed, one D5 will do fine. You might want to think about an additional rad, but I can't even see where you are going to put the first one.

how is the air cooling in that lian li when you have the asus directcu 2 card in it? Push the 3x140mm fans enough air in the case, so the air from the gpu wont heat up the CPU that much?

i wonna buy lian li p80, put some more powerfull and quiet 140mm fans from noctua, also the noctua nh d14 cpu cooler and buy the new asus 680 directcu 2 card when it comes out.
I am really worried that there will be much hot air in the case from the GPU as it istn reference design and it will heat up my CPU and probably PSU.

I wonna build powerfull yet silent gaming rig and dont wonna go into watercooling yet.

and one more question. How do you suggest i mount my PSU? fan facing top or down?

thanks for answer.

first of all my friend my build hasn't finished yet! regarding fan's and air cooling, i've changed my front 3 fans to coolermsater red led 20000 rpm speed and they are really good and produce good air flow.
you dont need to worry about heat just change the stock fans and get good cpu cooler but i would recommend water cooling! do the psu fan facing down side it wont create any issues

Hey.

Nice build, nice parts and all, owned a P80 myself before I moved on to my TJ07 and A05NB.
Looks really nice, but I can't see the awesome parts behind all that tubeing. My $0.02 for improved freshness, smaller diameter tube. Like 3/8ID, 1/2OD or 5/8OD. smile.gif
