GTX 590 QUAD SLI

has anyone had any bad experiences with 2x gtx 590 in quad?? i only have one in my machine ATM and gonna put the water block on it and par it with the identical asus card that is in already. i have a good PSU so i dont think that will be a issue (seasonic x1250, 104 amp single rail), my real issue here is that i have heard horror story's about people running the 590's in quad sli. I've heard guys get random BSOD's and having a card fall of sli and not be able to see it again for a while after a crash, i realize it had texture problems in some games running quad as the amount of ram is not really 3gb as advertized (1.5gb per core). also i have seen people with reading different voltage on every core as well and i this a modded bios flash would fix that. just want some input on the good as well as the bad that have been experienced with these cards.
