Do you guys think this is a good board? i did some surfing on newegg, this came in 10 dollars cheaper plus passive cooling. Its Abit though, which i know nothing about. Are they a good brand?

If not I will go wit the ASUS Sli deluxe...which some of you suggested.

I have the Abit AN8, and it is a great board. No problems, and has great overclocking options. The silent heat pipes are nice too.

The Abit is an okay budget board, but I had some problems with mine...

-PCI slots didn't work
-Steam was really buggy with it

But it was a decent overclocker. Excellent BIOS. No DFI, but it would OC well. Do you need cables, drivers, I/O shield and everything? If no I would go with an OEM DFI.

If yes, I would find an open-box Asus. There is nothing wrong with open-box, my ram was, and it's fine.

The Abit would be my last choice.

Thank you. ALthough im dissapointed to see taht board isnt that good...oh well. So you would choose DFI over Asus and Asus over Abit. Ok now im gonna look into those two brands...guess theyre popular on here for a reason
