Same here. Ordered Thurday night (which would be the 16th in Korea). Course it is Tuesday in Korea now. But I'm patient. At least it gave me an excuse to finally update my ancient video card.

Dholby5150 those pics of the monitor are beautiful. Can't wait to get my hands on my very own! And thanks for the youtube clip as well.

I didn't know it had a white back/bottom line/top line. Nasty.

Thanks for the pictures though.

Thought about going with redcap as he seemed to be the cheaper route, but there's some peace of mind involved with shipping with FedEx for me that was worth the extra cash.
Is anyone planning on opening theirs up to see if this works with Scribby's PCB exchange? I would, but I'm a bit of a newb on these things and am afraid I would damage something. Reference: http://www.overclock.net/t/1225919/yamakasi-catleap-monitor-club/1000#post_16749714

Definitely made the right choice. Less than 24 hours later, it's already in The US. I can't imagine anything being faster than this "economy" FedEx option, it's blazing fast. Priority overnight shipping must be on a friggin G6, handled by some royal carrier on a velvet pillow or something.

I'll have some HQ ones up by the end of the week as soon as mine comes in. Plan to photo every nook and cranny on the thing thumb.gif

Oh, and I ordered from dcsamsungmall on EBay - so far the best in terms of processing and shipping and I've only heard one packaging complaint about that seller on the Catleap thread, everything else has been stellar.

I got mine from dcsamsungmall. It was shipped out the very next day after I paid for it and I received a tracking number promptly, so I was able to track it immediately after it was shipped (origin point in Incheon, South Korea). It arrived two working days (four days including the weekend) from payment. Box was wrapped snugly in bubble wrap, about a half to a full inch on the corners and a little less in the center. The bubble wrap was fastened to the box with several lengths of tape wrapped all the way around the sides. Removing it was quite the hassle with a box cutter; there's no way for it to ever possibly slip off during shipment unless the box were to be attacked by some sort of crazed viking (wielding an axe).

Inside the box you'll find the monitor suspended on some foam stabilizers. I wont elaborate on that since there should be pictures aplenty of the packing. The power brick and DVI cable came in a separate bag, and was loose inside the box (so if the box was bumped around too much, the brick would slam into the display). Luckily it was placed behind the monitor...

1 bright pixel on the top left corner, very close to the edge. I am more than satisfied with this purchase; I will be buying another.

If you got 100 people together to purchase from them someone could coordinate a buy for $300 a pop easily..

There are a ton of other ones just like this on the site. I am sure the ebay distributors are buying from places just like this in bulk and selling for an easy profit.

In bulk, doubt it. My guess would be through a local disty, and they pay in cash for a lower cost.

Also, if you check red-cap's other IPS listings, you would noticed that there are lots of other brands Aimecca, PC Bank, and etc. Those LG IPS panels are out at a really low cost for all these vendors to make these displays.

100 pieces is a lot, 30k! biggrin.gif, but the cost for these panels must be really low. I hope this would mean that 1440p for the big boys (Dell, HP,etc) will be cheaper in the future.
