SSD and VMs

I was wondering if running virtual machines on my SSD would be in anyway bad for it? I recently purchased an M4 256gb and would like to use it as I would any other HD (download to it, rip ISO's, run VM's, etc).

It should be fine under normal use. I run VM's, games, and editing photo and video on my SSDs all the time.

Though, how much would you be downloading to it? If you do a lot of writing in a short amount of time it can slow write speeds down.

Thanks for the answers. I'd download maybe 10-30gb a week.
