Best air cooling config for Arc Midi - Page 2

My card is not traditional, so it exhausts heat in the case.
I hear that having a rear exhaust fan can decrease the D14's performance...
I do not know if a top fan would assist at all, since as you said the D14 is blocking most of the airflow lane.
If need be I can use 3 140mm fans.

From what I understand, having a rear fan will decrease the D14's performance over having an empty slot. However, the Arc Midi has a honeycomb grill on the back that you'll need a high pressure fan to push the D14's exhaust through. In other words, you need a clear run out of the case to go without exhaust case fans and get the most out of the D14.

Unless you plan on modifying the case, then I'd put a fan in the back; probably not one of the Fracal Design ones though, they can't move enough air.
