I am waiting for this board, since my recent P67 UD7 died and I refuse to pay such a high premium for a Z68 UD7 w/ the G1 sniper 3 so close by, besides a added bonus for me is the Killer NIC + the onboard Creative chip (not sure how well that chip performs against what I am use to, that Realtek chip on the P67, I'm such a sound chip n00b)...

I really wonder if the P67 UD7 was capable of pushing 3 580's PCIE lanes voltage requirements? because my ATX connector literally went up in flames.. doing a RMA for that but that's not what this thread is about..

I already own a 2500K, apart from the one that's already in my home server, going to rock that until I find that I need a Ivy..

I game 5760*1080, the P67 + 3x 580 gave me very good results, so it's not king of the benchmark mountains, but all my games that I play run at 40 minimum to 60+ frames.. AA setting varied due to ram limitations.

As for the VGA port, that's better then my P67 UD7 with 10x or so USB ports which I don't use most of, simpler trouble shooting using VGA cable on a old LCD monitor I have laying around.. or I can find some use for it if need be, who knows.. I'm not going to be staring at my case inside going "wow, it's a blue VGA connector", I am going to be staring at my monitor and you probably won't even notice the blue unless you look in it, or look for it..

I never liked the "gun theme" heat sinks, but you can't please everyone..

I just don't feel the need for a X79 / 2011 platform at the moment, I have a 2500K dedicated server that does all my tasks already.. thumb.gif

Chop Chop !! Get moving on those out the factory doors and have some of them sent over this way (HK supplier Synnex)... biggrin.gif

Is it not just that they've released too few of them to begin with. So all the retailers and their friends have bought them all instead of putting them on shelves.

I might get the new revo rather than wait for this board. It would save me the trouble of mixing in lime green into my rig lol.

I need to get a board asap before the wife realizes I sold her board and chip, outgoing 1366. I'll replace her board with my revo and sb. biggrin.gif

Some reviewers have time. I think you will start seeing reviews this week or next. Sorry my review got a bit postponed, but now it is my first priority.

BTW I have a Z68X-UD7 to compare NF200 to PLX8747
