I remember this game from my childhood, I'm almost positive it was a Mario game, but I could be wrong.

The game was played with a softof "3D" look to it. It was perspective view I believe, the land sort of looked like Minecraft, but the view was static and couldn't be rotated.

I think you were on an island, and I'm almost postive there were Yoshi's.

I don't remember the goal of the game, and that's all I really remember from it. If anyone could help... I'll be forever grateful. I've looked through like every Mario game Wikipedia lists.

Now, for an isometric game that you might have played as a kid, with minecraft-style graphics...

Solstice is probably the only one I can think of. Equinox was the SNES version of it, Solstice being on NES.

It was definitely a Mario game with the perspective view like Marble Madness.
