MAX SAFE VOLTAGE FOR Sapphire HD7950 OVERCLOCKING?

Im wondering which is the highest voltage I can go WITHOUT DAMAGING THE CARD!

I know 1.150 is safe but then what. I mean for 24/7 usage.
Stock is ~1.093

I have the Sapphire HD7950 OC - the one with dual fans and runs @ 900/1250 at stock.
I reach ~58c running the card at 1050/1250 in OCCT.

Question, with my 5850 I could see more than just GPU Core temperature, why can I not see the others with 7950? I think it was VRM temp and what not.

Some of the review sites have been getting them up to 1.25. Up to 1.175 should be safe 24x7. As long as temps stay below mid 70's then you should be fine.

I have my 7950 at 1200/1600 at 1.231 core and stock memory with no problems ever. Temps never go over 73 even on the most demanding games during long sessions. Most of the time it stays around 65.

Why 70? Just a question.

The older cards could safely reach 85c without any damage.

Yeah my 6950s can run mid 80's too but its never a good idea to run them that hard all the time. For everyday use I try to keep cards in the mid 70's. they'll last longer and less likely to have issues.

WOnt be an issue with 7xxx series GPUs. they run a fair bit cooler anyway as Invisible has said.

Another question. Why does not my CCC (12.2) have the Power Control settings as seen here:
