Friends and co workers have convinced me to get back into PCs so I am going to be building an ivy bridge setup and might get into liquid cooling again.
I've had an FT02 and HAF 932 and am wondering if anything new has come out in the full tower or large mid tower world.
Plans and sizes needed: I would need to be able to fit crossfire/sli and a full sized cooling loop.
What's hot right now guys? It's been a year or so
EDIT: I am fully open to modding if there is a case that mods well.
There are some great new cases. Two many to list. Some of the more recent ones are; Personally im looking at either the cosmos II or the TJ11 for my next case.
In the super-tower segment (I call anything bigger than my HAF X, a Super-Tower)
This list is mostly golden. I would stay away form the Lanboy, it's a dust magnet, and all of the mesh sides are made out of straight plastic. Kind of a cheap construction. I have a Cosmos II, and the Antec DF-85 and I love them both. The DF-85 is better if you don't plan on doing anything crazy by way of case mods. I have a 275x120 radiator on the back fans that literally bolted right up, without any problems.
Case Labs!! No modding needed, completely customizable, and they're known for having fantastic customer support to help you with ordering! When I make my Haswell build, it is going straight into a Case Labs M8!
I have an enermax fulmo GT full tower. Its more like a super tower and has more than ample space for water cooling. I am going to be modding it soon to hold an additional 240 mm radiator up front and other than the HDD cages being pulled ill still have more than enough room for an additional pump and another 400mm tube resevoir.
The lanboy air isn't cheaply constructed. I have it and its great. Cable management is complicated. The only place dust gathers is on the fan grills. The inside doesn't get dustier than most cases. The mesh is metal not plastic. The side of the mesh is plastic though.
