Well, if I sold my computer what would I do to stave off boredom while waiting for the new one to come in the mail? Also, who would buy my computer? Edit: Or should I wait til I can earn around 1000? It may be a month or two but would it be worth it? The only games I want to play are: WoW =D, Counter-Strike Source, Company of Heroes ( Can it be done on my specs? ), and Battlefield 2. Mostly Company of Heroes because I am installing it right now and will be disappointed when it crashes, which it most likely will. Edit2: Is there any way I could overclock to increase performance?

Play patience? With ACTUAL cards..

Who'd buy it? No one here... LOL Maybe you can check if they're selling on ebay.

I showed you that you can get a substantial upgrade for $600 (and get a rig that actually overclocks!). Then you'll have a very upgradable rig for the future. If you can, I would save up to $600 and get this over the AGP video card and the DDR RAM (AGP is really outdated)

Alrighty, I've chosen to save my money until 600 or so. But do you think I will be able to play CoH on my computer? And I've had this computer for almost 2 years now. Its about time it gets the curb. Edit: What is this Core Duo you speak of? Is it worth the extra money?

It definately should be able to play most any games at medium settings, and many at high settings. Better at least than your current rig, even with the $300 upgrades proposed earlier.

Yes.

City of Heroes system requirements are not that spectacular. Check here:
http://cohvault.ign.com/View.php?vie...ry_select_id=9

You exceed all the minimum requirements, and some of the recommended requirements. Other parts are inbetween both (RAM, Video)

I expect you can run it at medium setting at least, possibly some settings a bit higher. The new rig will blow it away though

Sorry... my bad Guess too tired.

Found these on Barnes & Nobles website:

System Requirements
Operating System: Windows® 98/ME/XP/2000
CPU: 1.5 GB Processor.
Hard Disk Space: 3GB HD space.
RAM: 512 MB RAM.
VIDEO: GeForce3 64 MB or Ati Radeon 8500 64MB or greater (True DX8 Graphics Card with 64MB RAM i.e. Video Cards with at least pixel-shader technology - GeForce4 MX isn't supported).
CPU: DirectX 8.1 Certified Sound Card.
CPU: Broadband or 56kb modem (multiplayer).
DX: DirectX: DX9.1 (included) but DX8.1 supported.

Thus, yes, you should be able to play it. Don't expect too much though
