I had a problem like this before with a new build. Have you checked all your connections? Re-seat the GPU, RAM, and any other peripherals you may have. If yoiu have multiple drives try only booting one at a time. Check the connections on all of them and ensure the power cables are properly seated.

Also, are you getting any POST messages? Any beeps at all?

Checked all connections, everything is seated properly, only have the boot drive pluged in. I tried it with a spare GTS 450 i have and i was able to boot and see that it was configuring services, is there anything special i have to do with the 7770?

EDIT 2: I put the 7770 from this build in my sig rig and it booted and i could see everything, even got to the windows login screen, so i know its not the video card.

I got it to show something on the screen after the initial windows install, i have to unplug my mointor power then plug it back in, now windows is encountering an error when it tries to start services so im buring the windows install image to a different disc. The image came from Microsofts msdnaa downloader so i know its a legit full image.

Upgrading to Win 7 from Vista or XP? And the boot drive, was it used previously or new?

I just migrated a system last night to a diff case and the migrated pc wouldn't boot for a while,
a while that is until I realized I had the wrong power cord mistaken plugged in my brick.
Yeah, it was pretty dark down there underneath my desk.
All is well now. 2cents.gif

I fixed it but you will never believe how. After the bios screen comes and goes i have to unplug my mointors power cable and plug it back in.

It sounds like video card problem (?)

First I'd download AMD's latest again and save it to the desktop.
Then, I'd uninstall all video drivers on the desktop then clean out the rest in safe mode.
Then I'd reinstall the latest you downloaded.
If that doesn't help, I'd get gigabyte on the line and set up an RMA.
And yeah, I'd keep Dirt 3. whistle.gif

good luck!
