50 isn't high. I dont go above 52c while folding 100% all cores. Prime blend will make me hit 60c though. These chips can safely run quite a bit hotter for years and years.

Watercooling (if you don't already have it).

My room got up to about 34C last summer (with the A/C off), and the CPU stayed below 77C IIRC. During the winter the room is at 20C while the CPU maxes out at 57C.

Now I just need to get the motherboard and GPU in the loop too. They both get quite toasty in the summer.

I'll think about it... but I have a FT02 so it gets a bit messy when getting WC. (Changing bottom fan) and I don't really have the cash right now for such a investment thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif.

My 1090t can easily fold at 4.2GHz but i usually fold at 4GHz becaus i want to keep my vcore below 1.5v. And I think I could even go higher then 4.2GHz if I overclock with both the multiplier and the fsb instead of only with the multiplier like i did now. And on top of that i have never gotten my x6 over 35°C it usually sits at arround 32°C when folding.
