How do i run my 3D tv on a GTX280?

Hi, got my first 3D tv and im trying to play around with running games in 3D. it has an option for 2D to 3D" but it hardly does anything.

is there a setting or driver i can use to have proper 3D on games like i get on a 3D blueray?

Here is the System Requirement for Nvidia 3D Vision:-

http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-system-requirements.html

 

Make sure you install the 3D portion of the newest driver.

And, install the 3D Vision kit properly.

 

For more info, click into the 3D VISION USER GUIDE contained in the above link.

You have to toggle 3D vision on and off in the Nvidia control panel.

i havnt got that option anywhere on my nvidia control panel :/

thanks that explains alot, but i didnt get the nvidia 3D vision kit. i was hoping i could just get it working with a normal 3D tv. maybe my graphics card is too old? gtx 280s have been around for years...
