I'm looking to purchase an External Hard Drive and I've noticed that these look to be the same or similar model but I cannot find any differences between the following:

WDBACX0010BBK-NESN
WDBACX0010BBK-NECS

The second one (NECS) includes a pouch/case for the external hard drive. Just go with

Thank you for the assistance. That's what I had also found but I wanted to confirm that suspicion.

In the end I purchased the NESN variant and it came with 1007 Firmware (latest) so I didn't require any firmware update.
