This is untrue, newer games with more than 2 threads will be slower on the X2 (unless it is unlocked to an X4). Examples of this would be Skyrim (scales to 3 cores) and BF3 (theoretically scales to 8).

If you OC the 465 to its maximum potential it is nearly as fast as a vanilla (non Ti) 560, and when unlocked it is almost the same speed as the 560 Ti+ (448 core). Needless to say, the GTX 465 is a vastly under rated card. It just uses gobs of power.
