Looking for good 1000W PSU - Page 2

How about anything on this page?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007657%204017%20600014025&IsNodeId=1&name=901W%20-%201000W

Are any of those high quality? I read somewhere Xclio was great, but I am hesitant to trust new brands. Thermaltake is a brand I usually like, but I know nothing about the quality of their PSU's. I am willing to go a little over $200, but not more than I have to. I might be willing to compromise on the wattage, but not by much.

Silverstone has a couple 1000w PSUs for under $200, but not sure how good they are. You can get a SeaSonic X-1050w for $220

This is the only one i would recommend under 200 dollars. All the others on that page are complete garbage lol. Also, if you want to spend more than 200, get the Seasonic x1050. It isn't bad either..

Sigh. That was my worry, finding quality at a price I want. 5.5ghz? *drools* I want... I may have to save up for that Corsair PSU, then. By the time I can afford, I'll be past the point at which I can return the Raidmax. Guess I'll use it to replace the 700w OCZ in my LAN case, and use THAT PSU to upgrade my dad's 400w Diablotek. Or maybe I'll just sell it to someone who wants what I did, 1000w at a good price.

Damn, you guys are posting faster than I can keep up. I thought the Cooler Master had the short cable problem? Do SATA power cable extensions exist, so I can still tuck the cables out of sight?

Look at it this way. You get what you pay for. If you really want a 1000w psu under 200 dollars, go for it...but you'll be lowering the quality. The cables for the cooler master will be long enough in the the haf x, dont worry. The only one that might be short is the cpu cable, but there are extensions.. Yes sata extensions exist but you wont need them. Those cables are extremely long anyways

I've got the NZXT Hale-90 1000w PSU ($209 IIRC) and I haven't had a single issue with it.

I guess I am also wondering if the PSU is the reason I can't get the same stable 3.6ghz > 4.4ghz overclock that others have reported. I also want to make sure that it might be the reason my GPU can't render Furmark smoothly without jumping frames.

First off, GIR and Invader Zim = awesome sauce. Second, are the voltages right where they are supposed to be? Do you run into issues overclocking?
