gelid fans, love it.

Noctua P12 ones, pricy but silent. If you got money then why not to get Noctua fans?
I have 3 P12 and one P14. Nice 6years warranty too thumb.gif

superericla noted NZXT case fans, my NZXT case fans which came on my switch 810 case are little clicky and seems cheapo build quality. But they are quiet too but not as quiet as noctuas tongue.gif

Personally for good budget fans for quiet operation I would recommend slipstreams, Arctic cooling f12s, and gelid s12s (for 120mm) or ty-140s if you can fit them. If you go with expensive fans just go with noiseblockers.

$: Yate Loon D12SL-12
$$: Scythe Slipstream, Enermax T.B. Silence/T.B Apollish
$$$: Sharkoon Silent Eagle SE, Nexus Real Silent (also called Nexus Basic)
$$$$: Noctua NF-P12, Noiseblocker Multiframe, NB Blacksilent Pro
140mm/top mounting: Sharkoon Silent Eagle 140mm, Yate Loon D14SL-12, Noiseblocker XK1, Thermalright TY-140
Fan Controller: Scythe, various models.
There are other good options, but I only listed ones I've personally used (except for the Multiframe. That one I recommended on second hand info, if I find out it sucks after it arrives tomorrow, I'll edit, ha. I doubt it, though.)

Old faithful. Noctua 120mm. Expensive, but there's nothing better.

+1
I would like to add one entry to the $$$$ category: BeQuiet Silentwings USC. They run very, very quietly, no bearing noise or motor tick whatsoever. You can almost touch your ear with them and will hear nothing but the sound of the air moving.
Not especially high airflow, but for awesome fans for super-silent systems.
