Adobe Flash player crashes my pc. --FIXED--

Hi,
I was wondering if you could possibly help me with an issue I'm having.

I recently built a new tower using some old parts and some new. As I had no problems with the old tower we can cancel out the old parts that were carried over as not part of the problem.

All items have most up to date Bios or driver.

Old Computer Components.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Windsor 3.2GHz
Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe (with most up to date bios)
A-DATA 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit (as seen here. http://assets.overclock.net.s3.amazonaws.com/8/84/846009f2_vbattach150411.jpeg)
Case... Unknown.
Jeantech ABSOLUTE. 1000w power supply (JN128F-1000CAP)
Asus ENGTX460 DirectCU TOP/2DI/768MD5
Seagate ST350063 0AS SATA disc drive
LG DVD Writer (GH22LS50)
Microsoft wireless keyboard
Microsoft sidewinder mouse
Samsung BX2335 monitor
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

New Computer Components.
AMD FX-6100 AM3+ 3.3GHz
Asus M5A97 PRO (with most up to date bios)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9)
Corsair 600T case
Jeantech ABSOLUTE. 1000w power supply (JN128F-1000CAP)
Asus ENGTX460 DirectCU TOP/2DI/768MD5
Seagate ST350063 0AS SATA disc drive
LG DVD Writer (GH22LS50)
Microsoft wireless keyboard
Microsoft sidewinder mouse
Samsung BX2335 monitor
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Green items are items that were in both towers and worked fine in the old tower.

The problem I'm having is largely based around flash player. When browsing the web, with Internet Explorer 32bit, 64bit, Firefox or Chrome, if I go to a site running Flash player I get a total lock up. (No response from keyboard or mouse, I can't even get the light to work on the keyboard wireless hub when I press the number lock button.

A web site that I get this on all the time is playing the £2 bingo instant win on the lotto web site. The second I press the instant reveal button it locks up.
I have once or twice had the computer lock up without being on the web. Streaming a movie to the tv via ps3 media server (which uses flash) I find I can lose signal and when I go to check the pc, I find that the monitor wont come out of sleep mode, indicating that the pc has locked up.

Once locked up, the only thing to do is power off. If I press the reset button on the tower the screen goes black as if it is rebooting, I get a constant pale glow from the hard drive LED on the tower and that's as far as it gets. It will sit like that forever more.
The only way to get it to reboot is hold down the power button until it shuts off or pull the mains plug.

Upon reboot the computer has lost track of things it just did. E.g. opening windows mail, email that was downloaded last time is not there and it comes down again as new. any web pages that were saved to favourites are also lost. There are no error logs in the windows event viewer to help.

Attempts to fix.
1. I've run several bench test programs such as prime95 and memtest and each time the components pass with no errors.
2. I've tried running the pc using only one memory stick to try and find a faulty one and gone through the lot with exactly the same crash with flash player.
3. I've changed the graphics card from an Nvidia to a 7950 AMD chipset to better match the new motherboard.
4. I've changed the hard drive to an SSD
5. I'm running the computer with all windows updates and every new driver for each item.
6. last night I created an image copy of my drive.
Removed all plugged in items except power, keyboard, mouse and monitor.
Formatted the drive and installed windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Installed the Realtek PCIe Family Controller from the disc that came with the motherboard to be able to access the web.
Went on the Adobe web site and installed Flash Player.
Went and tested the instant win lotto site.... LOCKS UP!
7. Today I formatted the drive and installed Vista Ultimate 32bit.
Installed the Realtek PCIe Family Controller from the disc that came with the motherboard to be able to access the web.
Went on the Adobe web site and installed Flash Player.
Went and tested the instant win lotto site.... LOCKS UP!
8. Turning off hardware acceleration in flash and the browser makes no difference

From 6 and 7 we can deduce that it's not the operating system.

I really can't understand what is going on.
I can do anything from listen to an mp3 in media player, Edit a picture in photo shop or play something like Crysis2 with all settings set to maximum with no problems, but I can't run something that requires flash player.

It has to be one of the new components causing the problem.

AMD FX-6100 AM3+ 3.3GHz
Asus M5A97 PRO (with most up to date bios)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9) (I can't see it being RAM as I've gone through testing the crash with one chip at a time. Unless the RAM wasn't compatible with the motherboard and according to Asus website, it is compatible).
Corsair 600T case (I think we can rule out this one, as it's just a box).

As you can imagine I'm reluctant to replace one of the components on the chance I might get lucky.

Any ideas?

I've discovered a lot of issues with Flash player has more to do with missing audio codecs or audio acceleration being enabled. These kinds of issues can be difficult to track down and it looks like you have taken a lot of troubleshooting steps yourself. Try to update your audio drivers to the latest versions and I recommend the ffdshow codecs. Does the video load but you cannot play? Does the video play at all to any degree and can you see/hear things? I'm just curious because I've had Flash issues where I could hear a video but couldn't see the picture, just a big white box. Hopefully you'll be able to get it narrowed down.

I disabled the onboard sound card in bios and uninstalled the hd audio from device manager. Still crashes.

I was thinking about puting my Asus DX sound card back in, but it's PCIe x1 and the x1 port would put the card directly infront of the graphics card fans.
I did read that you can put an X1 in the X16 port. So I might put it in the second pcie x16 port.

Today I installed my old Asus Xonar DX PCIe x1 sound card in the 2nd PCIe x16 slot and disabled the onboard realtex sound and BINGO! flash is working fine in all web browsers, did a reboot just to make sure and tried the lotto again. FIXED.

Tried to give you rep DUpgrade for pointing me in the right direction but I get an error message.

I have crashes on my fx-8150 and m5a97pro mobo and m5a97 evo r2.0 (with any RAM) when overclock CPU above 4.2GHz. When CPU frequency is less than or equal to 4.2GHz I have not crashes.
This refers to the crashes of exactly when viewing adobe flash player. Even on 5GHz tests has passed, but ps freeze by adobe flash player.
This is for three years, with different versions of flash player, on linux and windows.
