Neat. I like that we can shrink the ribbon. I pray we have a option to keep it open as well.

Even though I use Linux as my main operating system, I honestly have to agree, Microsoft Office is still a better piece of software for serious work. It's more polished, less buggy, etc. That's not to say LibreOffice/OpenOffice is bad, I just like Microsoft Office better.

I still have it installed, and still don't really like it. MS Office doesn't cost all that much for a student and the decrease in frustration is worth that price

Well the main issue is it isn't fully compatible with MS Office and when I get a document from a professor I always have trouble reading them. I am currently running the trial of MS Office 2010 and am really on the fence deciding whether to wait for this new Office or just buy the current one as my trial expires soon

Thread Starter
It's a shame that we are moving away from simplistic, easy to use, and rich programs to "Hide Everything From The User" programs...

MS Office 2003 was the last great edition of MS Office in my book, everything else they make from here on forward will be a cheap replica of a once great program...

Like Micrsoft has something against context menus I guess...

Meh!

You can do this in 2010, top right of the window there is an up arrow.

I agree with those that say that formatting in Libre / Open Office is rubbish. I find it very difficult to align things as I want them. I ended up buying MS Office 2010 due to all the complaints from my girlfriend about Libre Office.
