The 448 can overclock easily over 900 on air!
And mine do 840 on air, with Cu TFII coolers on them.
The difference between 840MHz and 900MHz (around 6% difference in actual FPS/perf) is not something you could possibly detect with the naked eye.
Aside from clocks/heat/noise factors due to the later gen chip, the 560ti 448 and GTX470 are the same card, and perform equally clock for clock. That's why it is most proper to compare these two cards. Because with everything at max OC's on air, SLI 470's will dominate regular 560ti SLI.
I invite anyone with 560ti's on air to match up with my graphics score on 3dMark11:
Your target GPU score is: 11237
Knock yourselves out
BTW, OP ... I say for that price DOOOOO EEEEET! I love, love, love my 470's in SLI. They crush everything at 1920x1200 (except Metro maxed with ADoF or Witcher 2 with ubersampling).
Oh, and DZilla ... the even more impressive number is the +40% OC from stock that many of them can do with a good air cooler, or +50% or more on water
Stock 470's were gimped SO hard originally with the 607 core clocks, otherwise nobody would've bought the 480's for $150 more cause CFC the 470 is only like 6% slower.Edited by brettjv - 3/12/12 at 9:52pm
