EZ cool 450w

Thread Starter
Hi guys have just upgraded my cpu fan to a arctic freezer pro, also put in a new sata drive,
since then i have had several problems ie random crashes, the other day kept on getting nv4_disp bsod error, after changing molex leads around on graphics seems to work again. Now asus probe keeps saying that the cpu fan drops below the threshold.

the probe says the +12 v is just under 12.

not currently o/c ing so no extra v as yet.

so is the psu on its way out or is there something else im missing

there's a good chance it could be your psu... but check your temps and see if your cpu is overheating... you might not have gotten the cooler on there all that great

that's a good place to start. manually check the voltages. It would probably be a good idea to get a new one.

PSUs that would be good that you can probably get:

Seasonic S12-500 or 600
FSP epsilon series
Sunbeam nuuo 550w

Well got a new psu today. Had to buy a 24 pin to 20 pin converter.
It works great and is very stable now.

For info its a Hiper R480. Bought for £30
