Tech class project

I was talking to my Tech teacher last week and we started talking about overclocking, and he didn't know what it was. So I told him, but he said that it is imposible to do without blowing something up. So I am here to prove him wrong...


Here are my specs...

Case - KME 300w w/USB
MOBO - Asus PS4533-MX SiS650GL Chipset
Processer - Intel Celeron 2.2ghz socket 478, 400mhz FSB, 128k cache
Memory - PC2100 266mhz DDR 256MB
Harddrive - Maxor 40GB (9.0ms, 7200rpm, 2MB cache, ATA133)
Moniter - Viewsonic E70f+ 17" 1280x1024 0.25mm

Yea, I know it's pretty crappy. I'm getting a new PC soon so don't suggest upgrading. I'm wondering how far I could push this PC without spending any money. This is my Tech project for my grade 9 computer tech class. I'm hoping for a stable 2800mhz. I want to overclock my memory too. And my graphic card could use a little boost too. Any help or advice, or comments would be great.

2.8 is probably in easy reach. Take a screeny and post everytime you move up a step

I can't seem to push 2.7~ before I get blue screened, I think its the voltage, because I haven't touched it yet. Am I working the RAM too hard, or graphic card? Or does it just do this due to not enough power? Because I'm pushing the FSB it's overclocking everything with it. I'm up to 122mhz FSB.

My BIOS won't let me change the Vcore voltage. It only moniters it. So is there any way I can change the voltage so I can OC this thing farther?

unfortunatly I am afraid not. My 2.4 pressy mobo does'nt let me change the voltage but it will allow me to get to 2.9 stable. Make sure its not increasing your PCI by drastic amounts. Keep your ram on a divider.

Dividers, you say?
Also when I'm changing the FSB in the BIOS theres the mhz number (100,105, etc) but theres another number to the right of it (30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40) What exactly are those numbers?
