x58a-oc mother board cmos boot problem

Thread Starter
hi i have a gigabyte x58a-oc motherboard with a e5530 xeon lga 1366 processor
when ever i enter the bios and save my pc wont boot even if i make no changes just save and exit.
when i get it to boot it has a message that says boot failed because of over clocking or voltage changes.
tried a bios update with no luck.
any help would be fantastic.
thanks

Assuming all bios settings are set to their defaults, it is likely one or more of these settings is incorrect for your particular combination of CPU and memory. Most likely: CPU voltage, memory voltage,or memory timings

i think the bios and chipset does not fully support my e5530 processor.
