Help req: Mounting LED to GFX PCB.

Hi there OCN.

So, i am in the process of trying out some mods and stuff to see what works, and what wont work.
I have a HD 7970 and i really want to WC it, thats not the problem. The "problem", is that i really wanted to know if there is any way to place an LED between the PCB of the GFX and the backplate? I know there may not be much room, but to see the EK logo lit up, contra it just beeing there, on a black PCB. I think i know what would look best wink.gif

And this is where you come in? I have google'd myself to insanity and i just can't seem to find anything.

I know it will be quite the process, but thats something i am willing to do.

Can you help me? smile.gif

Just a quick addition. After my brain fart, i realised that with WC, i don't need the fan on the GFX. Could i just run a connection from there, back up to an led, placed on the PCB (No metal parts touching the PCB itself), and power it that way? afaik it's a 5v and a ground, so if i could find a 5v LED, that should work, right? smile.gif

I put an led in my gfx as part of my mod and just spliced the wire into the main power led wire. Works a treat.
