Flashing 560 to 560ti

Thread Starter
From what I read the shader units on the 560 are 'locked' has anyone heard of unlocking them?
611

I'm just wondering since I read something that a 6560 can be flashed to like a 6570 to unlock some additional shader units. I'm wondering if you can do the same thing with the 560 and flash it to a 560ti...I mean they both are GF114 chips...

If anyone has experience with this or heard of it possible let me know!

Thanks! thumb.gif

I would probably say no,those extra cuda cores will probably be laser cut,so no chance to reactivate em.

I've not yet heard of this being possible. Also the trick on AMD cards only works on reference models (and it's the 6950 being flashed to a 6970 wink.gif)

If you feel like trying it, I wish you teh best of luck though.
