advice on coolling mount and my temps on new platform lga2011

hi guys i just upgraded to intel and this cooler its a ZALMAN CNPS 12X Venitrad Processor cooler and would only mount like this in the picture i have taken if it was mounted the other way blowing out the back of pc it wouldnt fit because of the ram have you guys got any advice on this cooler why its like this and is my temps ok i am idling at 32c and when under prime95 stress it goes as far as 59c is this safe for me or should i take this cooler out i had a antec 920 liquid cooler but there is no mount for the 2011 socket this is the only cooler i could find to fit it, just let me know if them temps are ok as i am used to having fx-8150 and the temps were well below 20c and max load 40c, thanks and sorry for the bad quality picture

59c is safe, so you should be good if that is the highest you have seen it get - how long was prime95 running? Since your system doesn't run at full load 24/7 you will likely be at a lot lower than that on a normal basis.

ok thanks for the reply i only had prime running for ten mins and it didnt get any hotter than that so i thought it wouldnt go up anymore so stopped it thanks for your reply is intel allowed higher temps then amd as im not used to the intel platform

I would suggest running prime95 for a little longer and watch your temps closely. If you find that your CPU is getting much hotter than 60c after running for awhile you might want to switch to a different cooler. A Corsair H-100 would be a good choice for your setup as it would leave more room for airflow than your Zalman cooler does

thanks m8 i actually have a antec 920 but im waiting on them sending me the lga2011 bracket for it so ill do the prime95 again and see if it goes to high
