Zalman is installed without any further problems
I didn't install any OS yet because I don't have any system chasis. Thermaltake Kandalf VA9000BWS is on the way. On the other hand, I didn't have time recently due to job related travels.

Once the rig is kicking then I will post the results.

Here's hoping you have good luck with it. I am using my old 9500 on my E6700 while I finish designing my water system and at stock settings, and low voltage, it loads at about 45c in 2 different cases with good airflow.

I am seriously toying with buying another air cooler for this system and just chucking the 9500, even a month with this thing is going to annoy me, but seems a waste since I know I am going water.
