Be aware! Ive both pads and Im lowsense player ! Need more than 32cm for 180° in Counterstrike so I need space !
9HD
Cons: very flat, almost 0 friction, very durable, if god would draw the monalisa with a mouse I think he would use this pad cuz its so precise !
Negs: get cold if your room is cold, TOO small for lowsense !!!!!!!!!!!,
QCK Heavy:
Cons: BIG! and 6mm high ! that feels just awesome if you are lowsense cuz u cant feel ANY bumbs on table at all ( if you have some : P ), very comfortable for ur wrist ! u got perfekt control which I think is more important than speed, !
Negs: did I tell, that there are NO Negs : ) ?

Do you mean Pros and Cons? Cons and Negs(negatives) mean the same thing) tongue.gif

Also OP, it depends what you want. Like i said, if you want the glide factor (since you're using the wooden desk) the 9HD is more like that. The QCK Heavy... is thick and cushiony. Depends on what you want. I personally am a FPS gamer, I need the quick turns and the fast response

I've got a Razer Deathadder 3500DPI and I want to buy a mouse pad, but I'm unsure of the correct thing to buy.
Do I buy SteelSeries QCK+ mouse pad? or do I get a Hard mouse pad (Which I've got absolutely no idea which to buy).
I just want the best performance for the Shooter game I play called CrossFire.
Hope I get can get some help from you all.
- Josh.

I really wouldn't recommend a hard mouse pad especially for the Razer deathadder. I have one and the feet wear out real easy, i had a Razer propad (hard mouse pad) and while playing a small little spec of something rolled under and scratched the feet, after that the mouse felt like it was running on gravel due to the small scratch. I then bought a razer goliath and everything is fine now it feels smooth even without changing the feet, in fact you will find the soft mouse pad will actually iron out the scratch that are currently on the feet.

Hmm.. These are all great points and suggestions, but I still feel as if the 9HD would be the best.. I'm not trying to be ignorant, I just feel like I wouldn't like a soft pad, and I would keep the surface of the 9HD very clean and without anything on it..

So.. if I keep it nice and clean would I not run into that issue you mentioned? because I'd really like to get something that's going to be most comfortable for me and not a regret..
