In theory all DDR3 RAM should work on both Intel and AMD PCs. Unfortunately that is not always the case.
The Kingston RAM you linked to above does show it's suppose to be compatible with both AMD and Intel systems though they are suggesting the AMD systems use 1.7v + which is usually not necessary with most DDR3 RAM as the default DDR3 RAM voltage is typically 1.5v. They even suggest higher voltages on Intel systems too so this might not be the best RAM but it should work. There is plenty of DDR3 RAM that runs reliably at 1.5v and some low voltage DDR3 RAM that runs as low as 1.25v.
Some RAM suppliers offer the same RAM in different colors. The gray may be a new offering???Edited by AMD4ME - 3/13/12 at 7:11pm
