I have unlocked two hidden cores on mine and when I oc it to 4ghz at 1.5 vcore everything is stable. Prime 95 gets no errors and I don't bsod while stress testing. The 101 bsod is still happening even though prime 95 says everything should be stable. I haven't ran it for hours on end like most people suggests but If I am able to load a youtube video, put it in fullscreen and within 10 seconds get a bsod I would think prime 95 would bsod as well. I tried increasing my vcore but Im pretty sure anything over 1.55 on my 960t would hurt it correct? No matter if its on air or water?

right click on the youtube video..and uncheck "enable hardware acceleration"

I have done that and have not received a bsod while watching a youtube video since. Have any thoughts on my newest post?

1600 ddr3 7-7-7-24-30 T1 sounds fine for a 3.8ghz oc on six cores? When leaving tras on auto it likes to set itself to 18 which is a little tight I think. Trc was at 40 on auto so I changed it to 30.

Everything runs stable changing my ram timings to what I posted above. That takes care of the cpu and ram. Right now I am stable and happy, how much performance will I actually gain if I try to set my NB to 2600 from 2000?

Would anyone have any idea why I run stable at 4ghz at 1.4125 vcore but I can't get stable at 4.2ghz at all? I started at 1.42 and ended up bumping my vcore all the way to 1.55(which is way higher than I will ever run a 24/7 OC) and still could not get one of my cores to stop giving me rounding errors in p95.

you have to give us more info. what are your settings? what have you enabled/disabled? what test did you run (blend)? which failed (small fft, large fft)? screenshot of your cpuz and hw monitor if possible.

if you raised your fsb, then you ram will be oc as well. so, your problem could be something else other than your cpu.

my bed is calling me. be back early tomorrow.
