Better 27" IPS from Korea? PCBANK 3VIEW PB2700 - Page 15

From the pictures it appears super is the stand. Bigclothcraft is also selling the "Fineforce" brand of the Q1 monitors. Looks like it is going for as low as $210 online in Korea. Up to $275 for a flawless version.

If you read through the product feedback section in that link the Q1 is mentioned.

I received my PB2700 today. Here is a quick summary:

I Ordered from dream-seller on the 23rd for $351. It was well packaged with multiple layers of bubble wrap but the box took a beating during shipping, even the styrofoam was broken:

The dented side that is shown here was facing the screen.

I'm in Romania, so I had to pay VAT at customs. I declared the monitor to be worth $200 (which is its real price in Korea) and the VAT came out to be around $50.
As I mentioned before the stand is better than I expected, it's a little hard to adjust but holds the screen firmly in any position.
I've got 1 dead pixel in the lower right part of the screen but besides that there are some tiny scratches on the screen which could have happened during shipping:
338
The above picture shows my dead pixel, but for some reason the scratches/surface damages which are more noticeable to the naked eye can't be captured by the camera. Disclaimer: I suck at taking pictures

There is some buzzing coming from the screen, it probably won't bother me too much I can only hear it if I put my ears up close to the back of the screen.
Backlight bleed is not bad at all:
338

I'm using it with a Quadro FX 770M (same as the 9600m GT), tried to push it to 72hz only, it didn't like that so we probably won't be able to OC these.

Despite the small issues I'm satisfied and would recommend this to anybody. It's a huge upgrade compared to the 22"-24" TN screens that I've been using.

You're sure the screen is scratched and not just dirty? I had some dirt which I couldn't wipe off with a microfibre but managed to get rid of with my finger nail.

Will a GTX 590 work with these monitors? I assume it will but none of the ebay sellers have it listed on their pages. Also is this PCBank monitor the one for gaming since it has the lowest response time? If the 590 won't work maybe I'll sell it and get a 680.

There all the same panels. Times will vary. That test that monitor was the fastest. Crossover seems to have the best stands and "sturdier builds (aluminum backing) Little more expensive because of it i presume.

Yes 590's will be more than fine 3 dual link dvi connections i believe.

FYI, the shipping label on my box said 116,000 (I'm assuming it's Korean Won), which would translate into around $102.50 just for the shipping cost.

If that's the case, these sellers really aren't putting that much of a markup on these monitors.

Shipping on mine was 97,700 Won, depending on how many they buy locally they can probably get the monitors for around/below $200, so there is still a decent markup even after ebay fees.

I'm pretty sure they are scratches, around 1mm in length. They look green and red over a white background, there is green-red variation depending on the angle I look at them, that's why I believe the cause is some surface damage. They disappear over a black background.
