Better 27" IPS from Korea? PCBANK 3VIEW PB2700 - Page 29

Yup I try a thousand time to unplug and plug my dvi-d from everywhere.

I am usualy very good in fixing computer, in Fact that was my job for a year.

If it's from my gpu or mobo, why my other monitor (23' from acer) is alway working like a charm.

I think the problem is the monitor, I will write to the seller and see what We can do. I try on a friend computer and the same happen, still, it's so strange, how can a broken monitor work sometime and after a reboot, stop working until 1000 plug unplug and start working again...

Thank again

von-block, like I said, sometimes it's not worth the trouble to figure out why.

Please let us know how things go, and also which seller you are dealing with.

I am with Dream-seller,

Maybe the package didnt help...there was nothing exept bubble arround the original box

450

My biggest fear is, how will it work with the shipping and all, there is no way I will pay this 100$ for shipping, It's not some stupid pixel stock, it's the whole monitor not working well and i'm kind of low on money,

I can send it on boat, will take some time but will cost less for the seller,

I will contact in tomorow but Any advise ?

Please Help.

Hey all,
I've been following this thread for some time and my monitor finally arrived today, but things are not good frown.gif

The first bad sign was the monitor box, it has a sizable semi-circle tear on it, like something heavy fell on the box.
When I finally powered the monitor, I saw something that made me really sad, the LCD is broken.

On top of that I ordered my monitor on March 31st and only received it tonight at 5pm, while others have received it next day.

Please advise me how to proceed in this case, I have very little experience buying things online (I always try to avoid it).
I don't want to pay for anything since this it not my fault.

How can I get the seller to send me another monitor without me having to pay for shipping to send this monitor back ?

Thanks a lot.

Edit:

What ended up happening is that I shipped the broken monitor (originally purchased on March 31st and received on April 10th) back to Korea on April 12 via EMS, I paid $230 shipping and showed him the receipt, dreamseller reimbursed the shipping cost on the Monday (April 16). The monitor arrived to him on April 17 and he sent a new one on April 18, which finally arrived on April 23.

He said he would send a new monitor but he sent back the exact same monitor (Box, cables, manual and even the actual monitor unit) but with the internal LCD panel replaced and better packaging. Fortunately there are 0 dead pixels and the light uniformity seems perfect.

Ouch frown.gif

Whoever is shipping these PCBANK monitors need to do a better job at packaging.... just putting shrink-wrap over the box is dumb!

gihad, with that kind of damage you should go directly after the shipping company. Send links to those pictures to the seller as well. Maybe they have insurance that will cover it.

In all honesty though, you should've checked the box when you received it and had the shipping company deal with the problem right away. I'm fairly certain it wasn't sent like that.

It had a tinny layer of bubble wrap and it prevented me from seeing the damage on the box.

I just hope the seller won't ask me to pay for anything (e.g. shipping back to Korea), if I do it would defeat the purpose of buying these cheap monitors.

If the seller doesn't give you a full refund, file an ebay complaint ASAP. Ebay usually sides with the buyer, and I think they would give your money back in a situation like this.

How would this work tho ?

He would refund me the $350(price of the monitor) first and than I would ship it back ? How would I pay for shipping ? If I paid for shipping how would I have a guarantee that he would refund the shipping cost as well ?

Thanks.
