That's wrong.
DVI-D - digital only
DVI-A - analog only (VGA signal through the DVI port)
DVI-I - has pins for both digital and analog signal. DVI-D + DVI-I

I'd call and ask about a partial refund for the problems. My first PB2700 (non super) had dust inside the LCD, and I was able to get a partial refund. I then sold the monitor locally, and was able to recoup my original purchase price.

Definately an intelligent idea, thanks 996gt2 wink.gif

Ok, so my lettering was wrong but answer was still right. His has single link DVI ports, this requires dual link.

Can you make a 7500K one as well?
One more thing I noticed is that the calibration profile introduced some banding on this page: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/gradient.php
Can someone verify/confirm this?

I don't have any banding on my non Super with 996gt2's calibration. It's taking my eyes some time to adjust as I guess I wasn't used to such warm colours too. When it first arrived, changing it to use EDID info took a lot of the green tint out of it, but in comparson, the calibration provided is even warmer still. It does make whites a lot less harsh to look at although whites didn't look white immediately after the change.

I'm using an Nvidia quadro fx770m and the banding is not that noticeable. I can live with that.

Mine still won't turn off by itself when I sleep or turn off my computer. It just stays on with a green light in the lower right corner and the backlight still on. I have to turn it off manually each time. Not a huge problem, but an annoyance nonetheless.

My non-super PB2700 goes into stand-by without issues. However it takes around 7 seconds to wake up, this might be caused by the video card but my other external displays (22" and 24") woke up much faster.

LOL! I think you're getting abit paranoid although i understand your distrust of first time posters, I could be a company employee but i'm not. I'm from Australia, orignally looking for a 1920 x 1080 120Hz monitor for a long while then heard of 2560 monitors. i was originally looking at Samsungs - S27A950 then S27A850 but saw on Ebay these cheap korean monitors. The guarantee of zero-dead pixel @ A$370 convinced me. I was hoping for 120 Hz but i suspect I'll need to wait for a 2560 x 1600 @ 120Hz monitor < A$500. I use my monitor for Flight Sims which is adequate at. 60Hz but was hoping a higher frequency might give better frame rate.

I have no problem with it turning off when my computer sleeps, screen turns off and light turns red.

BTW, how did I find about Overclock site ? did a google search on PB2700 and overclock came up as the only site talking about these new monitors.

Also, I'm looking for a site that has 2560 X 1440 quality pictures for desktop backgrounds, if anyone knows of one?

AW.

My non super has no problems sleeping but twice so far I've had troubles waking it. The light would simply stay a steady solid red as if it was asleep. It fixes after turning the monitor off and on again.

I think I've read that the other Korean monitors have had this issue too.

I can confirm the Catleap does not have any issues sleeping or waking up.

It's likely the controller of the PCBank.
