Better 27" IPS from Korea? PCBANK 3VIEW PB2700 - Page 40

Mine should arrive Monday. Very excited. Bigclothcraft asked me the standard gift/value questions and asked which video card I had. Told him the 5770 which is not on the supported list and he offered a full refund if I would like. Told him its ok but I'll eventually upgrade my GPU. Also i'm about 99.8% sure the 5770 will support the monitor. Maybe not BF3 at high settings but that's ok. I'm really gearing up for GW2 release in late June (speculation) and then I'll look at the new NV cards or see how the drivers are coming along for the 7950.

I would like to add the tip of my hat to the the Crafty Big Clothes man.

Purchasing the PCBank (super) from him was pretty much the same as told here by others.
I purchased the screen on Monday the 23rd and following the expected questionnaire, it was shipped on the 24th, arriving on Friday.

As noted here previously, Bigclothcraft's packaging method does leave some bubble-wrapping to be desired (check Voldermost's post for examples) yet I must commend DHL's handling of my box. The brown packing paper is quite thin and would probably show any mishandling by the carrier and it was in great shaped when i received it.

Overall, i don't have a lot to add beyond what was said before me.
The screen looks great, i did not detect any dead/sick pixels yet and my purchasing experience was on par with what others reported here for Bigclothcraft.

The one funny thing i noticed is that the cover wrapping on the screen's frame was probably added before the screen was assembled. as a result, some bits remained stuck between the frame and the screen's body..
It does not affect it at all, but it does add another answer to the question: "How come this screen is so cheap?"

All in all, my experience with this purchase had been a very positive one and i would also like to thank the people here for sharing the wealth of information available on those pages which revealed this option to me and ultimately persuaded me to take this (successful) gamble smile.gif.

Awesome pics thanks, but quick question what kind of rig do you have to run The Witcher 2 and how does it run because your pics look quite purrrrty? Thanks again.

bear in mind that pictures taken of a screen are a poor indicator of graphics power or rig but regardless, pushing that amount of pixels is an i5 2500k running at 4.3 and a 6950 biosed to 6970 and slightly overclocked.
I am still playing around with Witcher 2 settings so i can't give you a clear answer but as expected UberSampling is not possible.
I did disable anti-aliasing figuring that at 2560x1440 this is less of an issue.
