Better 27" IPS from Korea? PCBANK 3VIEW PB2700 - Page 7

Has anyone received this monitor yet?

Any dead/stuck pixels? Is the power brick compatible with 110-120V outlets in the USA and Canada?

I think so far everyone whose posted who purchased this has ended up getting a Crossover. I'm not sure who else is still waiting for theirs to arrive - I'm one of these individuals stuck in limbo without much communication from the seller (dream-seller). I was promised tracking info by the 22nd. I ordered on the 18th (so it went through on the 19th), so it hasn't been too long yet.

Shipping isn't the problem right now. I can be understanding about items getting stuck at customs, but this is before the monitor has even shipped. There must be some delay between the seller and manufacturer or even internal company issues due to wrong monitors being shipped for those who ordered 3View PCBanks who received Crossovers.

Not going well for my first ever ebay purchase. Hopefully I won't have to look into dispute resolution through ebay/Paypal/Mastercard. With all these levels of protection I should be OK if the need arises. Just need a bit of patience for now since it's only been a week.

Edit: 3 more sellers in addition to dream-seller and red cap have added this monitor now.

eBay is VERY good to their buyers (can't say the same about sellers). Be patient for a while longer and if it really doesn't work out, eBay will take care of you.

I ordered one from Red-cap at 8:30AM PST on Thursday the 15th of March. On the 19th I sent a message to him asking for tracking and whatnot and he sends a message back in the afternoon of the 21st.

Hi
I really appologize for the delay
your order is in my delivery company already but there was unexpected delay because they have moved their place lately.
they was supposed to give the tracking number for your order yesterday but I haven't got it yet.
it seems that the tracking number will be given today
please wait more (sorry again)
I am sure that your order will be shipped by expedited shipping service soon and the delivery would take about 3~4 days

sincerely
choi

- red-cap

At about 10:30PM on the 21st I got notice it was shipped and was supplied a tracking number. However, that tracking number is not recognized by any carrier, not even EMS.

So 4 business days from the 21st would be Tuesday the 27th. I guess I should have bought from a different seller, even if I had to not get this particular monitor...

Yea, my crossover just came in today from dream-seller. Luckily it has no dead pixels! smile.gif Colors seem a bit cooler than my existing display, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. However I did put in an order for 'another' PB2700 so we'll see -- if I end up getting another crossover I think I will just refuse the package this time.

Make sure you are tracking at the correct site!
http://www.track-trace.com/post
Choose "track with options."

I am in the same boat (or on the same trans-Pacific flight, so-to-speak). I, too, received the same message from RedCap. One day later I received a tracking number which seemed to go nowhere until I found the correct website from which to track. There is incredibly detailed information, right down to flight number and minute of arrival. Mine, unfortunately, appears to be stuck in customs in San Francisco.

www.track-trace.com shows that my monitor is at "Handed over to Air carrier INCHEON" and it's been like this for 2 days.

I hate waiting for things when there is uncertainty involved.

So he let you keep it too? Last time I heard from him he said I would have to pay $25 to keep it (lowered from $49,5).
He also said that returning it would cost him more than $100, but that was still the only option other than me paying an additional $25.
He's probably just trying his best to get more money out of me, but I haven't heard from him since what I believe was Wednesday night in Korea.

Now I'm afraid he won't get back to me until Monday, and the monitor might arrive Monday morning, as it left customs today.
In that case, do you think I should tell the delivery man to return it, or keep it and hope he can't force me to pay up through eBay or something?
