I have the PCBank PB2700 Super– works fantastic on my Windows 7 PC.

Picked up the Monoprice Dual-Link DVI active adapter to use it with my Macbook Pro Retina, but I'm having no such luck. The MBPR simply doesn't see the PCBank. It flashes the screen randomly, like it's trying to, but it wont recognize.

Any ideas?

ps. On Mountain Lion

Hmm, I found this post: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4194229

Mentions that you need the Accell active dual-link DVI adapter, and that the Monoprice variant wont work.

Ordered it, we'll see how it goes.

Hey all, first post: Just received my PC Bank 2700 Super today, will post pics when I get home. Ordered the Perfact Pixel from Cool-guys 08/20/12. Shipped to Canada - I had no extra duty fee's! Bubble wrapped with no visable damage. Fired up right away, buttons seem great, no dead/bright pixels. Plastic wrap on frame was hard to remove, looks like it was built with the protective sticky plastic on already. Had a few hours to muck around on GW2 - looks awesome. Powered by a GTX 670 DirectCU 2.

Overall worth the Ebay gamble, and Cool-guys came thru big time.

Definately going to grab 2 more, but I'm looking at the OC ones from Overlord Computer - when they're available. Have not tried to OC my PC Bank yet

well, ive had this monitor for a while now, and it's been great...for the most part

BIOS: some people say it doesn't display bios, it's partly true, it doesn't display the bios post screen, but if you keep pressing delete and enter the bios, it will eventually display it,
Problems: there are some that i've noticed:,
1)sometimes when the computer boots, before it reaches the login screen the screen turns really weird, just different stripes running up and down the screen, like it's broken , this is probably driver problem,
2)one day it started to corrupt image and go to black screen, then back on again, corrupt picture to black screen and back on again, it kept doing it for a while so i just turned it off for few hours, when i came back it was fine and it hasn't happened since, i don't know what caused it .

it has no problems coming out of sleep, or any other problems besides what i said, for now it's still ticking, i'm enjoying the purchase

i'm using it with amd 5850 and right from the start i replaced the stock dvi cable with a better quality one

some people already tried overclocking it, they only got like 6hz oc out of it before it craps out, but feel free to test and see what you get

Ya - mine would only OC 7hz, but I figured that it would be really low going in. Still a great purchase for the price, and I don't have any of the corrupt/black screen issues

Still looking to purchase 2 more, but looking for OC versions now

Sooooo - it's dead after 4 months bye the way. $100 a month? not worth it, lol

what happened? my is still working but i have a feeling that it might not last too long because of the corrupt image sometimes, i think it's the part that syncs the video clock that is failing, because when i shut it off and turn it back on it fixes itself, doesn't happen often but still happens
