Better 27" IPS from Korea? PCBANK 3VIEW PB2700 - Page 10

stab, all of these companies basically use the same/similar lg panel inside. you won't see any huge differences in any of the various ones being sold or talked about here. the main differences among them are mostly cosmetic

Are the colors / contrast better?
Cause from the pictures I would say the Crossover wins in the build quality department with a good stand and alluminium body.
Any opinions?

The only review of the monitors I've seen is on a Korean website, I don't remember what it was though. It rated the PCBank the best picture quality of the 4 they reviewed (PCBank 3view pb2700, Achieva Shimian QH270 and Catleap Q270, and Crossover 27Q). You are correct also though, that the stand really isn't all that great. However, good 100mm VESA stands/mounts can be had for under $50.

Less than ~25 bucks.

I have two of the ones below and they are more than enough to hold my 28" Hanns G.

yes, that is what the review posted but i would not take this as gospel. there is a lot of variance in ips panels. not everyone will get the same results, especially since these are A or A- panels.

Mine arrived today and it seems to be dead/stuck pixel free! It seems to have a very minor green/blue tint or maybe I'm too accustom to a slightly warmer colour temperature from my other monitor (Samsung 2343BWX - TN panel). The tint is only noticeable on white and when the backlight brightness is turned down.

I may try to overclock if I can figure out how on my Radeon 6850. Is powerstrip the only way?

Mine was purchased from dream-seller and it didn't actually come in a larger box with air cushions. It was only bubble wrapped, but it was plenty sufficient.

Edit: The stand was kind of disappointing since it would topple if it wasn't fully extended.

Interesting to note the power supply is made in China, so of course changing the power cable to NA standard is the only issue. Although they exist, I have yet to see a power supply made in China which was not 50/60hz 110/220 capable. Guess I won't be the first in Seattle with this monitor, but close enough. :-)

I got mine today. Took only 3 days to come. Pictures really can't do the monitor justice. I took 2 pictures really really close of my background for you too you. But really the pictures are rather meaningless. These pictures are pictures of my actual display, these aren't screenshots

Edit: Also I checked all the screen and there is no dead or stuck pixels. Came in perfect condition. I bought from Red-Cap btw.

anybody know if these are OC-able, as in higher than 60 or so Hz. Also did anybody get input lag readings?

Mine will be here later this week, I will post my impressions.

Great, I'll be waiting for the result of this as well then.
