I finished up the 3d model today. All other changes will be minor things here and there and I uploaded some new renders. Updated first post with status and phases of the build and I spent some money today.

The reason I might go with the raw copper look is because I'd like to do the black parts in satin and it wont be so flashy with a raw copper/satin black vs polished. What do you guys think I should do? polished copper/gloss black or raw copper/satin black?

I'd like to see a polished copper with a satin black! biggrin.gif I think that would make the copper stand out, which is what the build is really about right? I'm dying to see you do the copper with automotive paint though.

Excited to see the build with that color sleeving. Have to admit, I keep thinking "Duracell" when I see it though, lol. Love the colors though, good luck!

Slowly but surely I'm getting some work done. Finals next week so I probably wont have much updates for the next few days. I really wish they made the bezel solid, I guess I'll be picking up some plastic filler.

This looks really cool so far! I'm curious to see how the copper finish is going to turn out and I love the color of paracord you chose! smile.gif

It's funny. When I saw the name of the project and then the OP, I thought for a minute Masbuskado had returned.

Finals almost over, just one more to go smile.gif

I've been staying busy cutting and grinding away at the panels but haven't had much to show off. My friend just did some welding for me. Everything in these photo's has not been sanded down so I'll update with better looking stuff down the road.
